The team at Airbond have been chosen to win the Made in Wales Manufacturing Innovation Award.
The company was selected by a panel of judges from the Welsh manufacturing industry. We are thrilled to have won this award which is an important recognition of the hard work and innovation Airbond has delivered over the last 10 years.
The awards celebrated companies that are developing new innovative ideas, and delivering high-quality products and services to customers both in Wales and overseas markets. The event was held last night at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel and was compered by Matt Johnson. The awards were sponsored by the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, MADE Cymru and INSPIRE, Hunter Selection and SL Recycling. HSBC UK sponsored the gifts.
In an impressive shortlist alongside The Royal Mint, Mainstay Marine, and Blaenavon Forgings, Airbond was awarded the prize for Manufacturing Innovation. With the panel recognising our obligation to the cutting edge of technology, through our use of the HP MJF 4200 3D printer, and by producing the most advanced Splicers in the industry.
